Autumn Avenue is a four piece pop/rock band hailing from Oneonta, New York. Guitarist Sean and drummer Andy were both members of former Oneonta area band Indra. They came across singer/guitar player Andy, who came with a catalogue of songs of his own. Sean and Andy saw inspiration and opportunity in Andy W. thus offering him a spot in the band. Frank was a friend of Andy F. who just so happened to play a mean bass. With the lineup complete, Autumn Avenue headed to the studio to record their debut album, The Wishing Well Diaries, which is slated to drop in early 2006.
Check them out as they tour New York State/ New England this February, as well as everywhere else this summer!

Why this name?
Originally, we were called Indra (Sean and Andy F). But with the sound and style of music that we are currently producing, we felt that the name wasn't right. From there we started throwin ideas around, eventually settling on Autumn's Fall. The band liked the name, however, we discovered that about a million "Autumn's Fall"s exist, so we decided to change it once again. We liked the word Autumn, and decided to keep it, eventually falling on Autumn Avenue. It stuck, and that is what it will stay.
Do you play live?
We love to play live. We go out there and give our all on stage (especially Frank, lol) and we hope that it pays off for the crowd. The best way to hear music is to hear it live, and we feel we do a great job with that.
We haven't played any shows too recently due to the fact that we've been shacked up in the studio, but you can catch us on tour this February/March 06, as well as the summer of 06'.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is a blessing for the music industry! If it werent for the internet, not nearly as many people would know about us as they do. Of course, the record company execs might lose a few pennies off of their million dollar salaries, but hey, money isn't what music is about.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Band History:
Autumn Avenue has been together for a mere 3 months, but don't let that fool you. In those short three months, Autumn Avenue have caused a stir from the East Coast to the West Coast, and even Europe and Australia. Their highly anticipated debut album, The Wishing Well Diaries, is slated to be released in early 2006.
Your influences?
Everyone in Autumn Avenue bring different influences to the table. These could range anywhere from Michael Jackson to As I Lay Dying, Brand New to The Beatles and everywhere in between.

So far we've only played Oneonta, so we'd have to say that. But I'm sure we'll love every stop on our tour!
