I guess that this is now going to be my real band's name and this will also be the link to listen to our music. I will still post my origional material here though. As for my band's music, we havn't got around to recording lately, but we will as soon as possible, so keep in touch.
Why this name?
It came to me in a dream...
Do you play live?
YES!! Where ever we can. We are actually looking for some gigs, so give me and e-mail at Blackdove05@hotmail.com and tell us that you want us to play for you if you like what you hear.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it has made the music industry more open to the public, but less open to the bands who are trying to get signed. Because now, any old band can send Columbia records a link to a web sight and Columbia Records probably wont even think anything of it because they probably get a million shitty bands sending them crappy demos every day.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We would love getting paid to do what i love to do.
Band History:
My friend and I started jamming a long time ago, and the first time we played, we just clicked because we had the same influences, and close to the same style of playing. We are still looking for a real drummer and bassist, so if you're around the area of LaPorte Indiana, and you are extrodinary at bass or drums, and looking for a band... E-mail me at Blackdove05@hotmail.com. If not, dont bother because we are looking for raw talent.
Your influences?
Dream Theater, Avenged Seven Fold, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jason Becker, Pearl Jam, Pantera, Shadows Fall, Unearth, Dave Mathews Band, John Mayer, Jack Johnson.
Favorite spot?
Chicago
Equipment used:
I use an Ibanez GAX70, (hopefully getting a new guitar soon) I run through an RP300 Digitech Processor, and I play through a Fender Half-Stack
