The Funky Guitarist is: 1) Me on all guitars (2) Me on Bass (3) Me on Keys (when applicable) & Drums.(Ok it's really drums sequenced & programed by me)unless I indicate guest musicians on the tune.

I'm truly influenced by Jesus, Toto, Earth Wind & Fire, HillSongs and many other Christian artists, Tower Of Power, George Duke, Al Dimeola & Return to Forever to name a few. I'll even throw in Santana. I'm into Guitar Funk and Rock.(I'm also into other styles not listed.) I may add a Latin Rock & Fusion Flavor to my tunes.

I play a Carvin DC145 which was customized just for me. (My favorite guitar!) I also play a Jackson soloist which has been modified to include: Fender Lace sensor Gold pickups in the neck & mid positions & I use a Carvin S22B pickup in the bridge. My Bass was an american made 5-string Guild with active EMG pickups but now I have a Schecter HellRaiser 5 string Bass with EMG P/U's & I use a Boss DR-5 in combination with an Edirol Studio Canvas as well as EZ DRUMMER for Drums,percussion & keyboard type instruments. I was using a a Boss GT-6 but now upgraded to the Boss GT-8 guitar processor for my guitar tone (wow!). For Bass I use a Behringer Autocom 2 channel compressor for my funky sound & I record with Sonar 6XL.
