Welcome to Alphabeta! Metal music for use on games/films/other things! Check it out:
Why this name?
Besides from being 'Alphabet' with an 'a' tacked on the end... It's also the names of two types of radiation, Alpha and Beta (or two greek letters, whichever way you want to look at it). It's really the same reason as for my other project (also on soundclick) - Sanctum. I wanted a name that would accurately represent the intentions of the music.
Do you play live?
No, never. But I would love the chance.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It enables a wider range of talent to be more easily accessed.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, no doubt.
Band History:
It all started when I joined my first 'band' really. I'd been playing guitar for about six months and a friend asked me to join, I agreed, but it never got past a few jamming sessions. Since then I've been in and out of various groups, ranging from acoustic-orientated, to death metal, to cover bands... but after a two year hiatus of playing in groups, I began to explore other instruments, and other genres of music, and aside from my other project, I really enjoy composing this kind of music.
Your influences?
For this particular project:
God Forbid, System Of A Down, Symphony X, Iced Earth.

Anything else...?
The drums were recorded with a MIDI programme. Please excuse the quality of the MP3s also!
