Why this name?
The reason I chose 61 ENTERTAINMENT as the new name of the company is because it represents the DELTA North and Central Delta of Mississippi as Highway 61 Runs through it. For those who dont know the Crossroads of the Blues cross Highway 61 and in the North Delta close to Cleveland Miss in Bolivar County. Which is said to be the original home of the Blues.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3z allow an artist to get mass promotion over the internet and also on CD's Nationwide.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign a contract for distribution or if someone wanted me as a sole producer I would sign then anything less than that and I can do better independent.
Your influences?
The Mississippi Blues, Three Six Mafia , 8 Ball and MJG. Willie Hutch , Curtis Mayfield , and Hall and Oates.
Favorite spot?
The Mississippi Delta as well as JACK-Town. Houston is another one of my favorite cities.
