I'm a solo Rapper/Producer/Actor-- Writer. "I've been doing it since 17, never let it go and seen now that it's become a dream/ It's in my heart and soul and no matter what I'm gonna pursue till I'm dead or I'm old." I write all my material, and make most all my beats. I rap with my Boy J-Speekz and brother Raw, and other boy Lyph Lakai. We got a "group" which is on and off. And all I mean is that we're all solo but collab a lot.
Why this name?
My Real name is Cesar, and everybody useto mess it up since I was little. Like "Caesar", "Cezar" than my boy in a song said "Cess-2-Da-R" and I started sort of going by that. Than I just stopped it at, Cess!!
Do you play live?
Yes, I've done 2 shows at Gasoline Alley, in Clearwater. I love it. All the moments.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yea, for good and bad. Good you get to put your music out if you aint rich. But, if your big people take your stuff free. Which aint all that bad cuz the purpose of music is to get it out there but it's hard work and takes time so...that's why I aim a lot towards woman, because Tupac said it best "Woman want you, and niggas gone want what the woman want" Plus woman seem like the only ones that buy CD's nowadays.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, for the right agreement. I aint trying to be stuck in a bad contract.
Band History:
(In no particular order) Eminem, Big L, Tupac, Biggie, Tech 9ine, Brotha Lynch Hung, Outkast, Cee-Lo, Trick Daddy, Beatles, 2 Live Crew, Jay-Z, Metallica, Micheal Jackson, Ludacris, Camp Lo, Bob Marley, Anita Baker, Sade, Janet Jackson, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, Eric Clapton, Usher, Twista, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, Neptunes, Russel Simmons, LL Cool J, Cannibus, No Doubt, Lloyd Banks, Lil John, Field Mob, Gangstarr, Talib Kwali, Big Pun, Mos Def and I could go on forever, but you feel my drift in that I don't only listen to Hip-Hop, I've respected all musicians, ever since I picked up a guitar, or tried to play a piano, and felt that it's Hard as F*** to play harmonizing musiq without lessons or knowing the basics, plus sing at the same time, Sheeit, You gotta give it up to everyone who paved the way. And that's the problem with a lot of "Rappers" Jadakiss said best that a lot of them don't know "Real" music and diss all that sh*** if it aint "Gangsta" F*** that. You gotta have an open mind in the industry or yo sh*** WILL be Monotonous. And I say that because there is a line between Hip-Hop and Rap now, Hip-Hop is from the soul and Rap is for the money I try to balance em both But it's 80 percent Hip-Hop, 20 percent Rap. So now it's our turn as the new generation of "True" musicians to "Change The Game"
