I'm a composer and guitarist from Greece, at the time I'm mostly consentrated at my own material and my studies on Berklee Music in order to expand my musical horizons, posibilities and understanding of music. I had several co-operations with various greek artists and currently I lead a jazz/fusion Trio, "Divine Wind".

Thank you for stopping by, I hope that you will enjoy my music and my site, I'll be glad if you let me know what you think about it, so don't hesitate to write me... feel as comfortable as you can and enjoy the ride...

Why this name?
I always wanted something interesting for a bandname but I couldn't find anything creative but also relative with myself, then I realized that I liked my name, so I though "Why don't I just keep my name?" and here it is, Konstantine.
Do you play live?
I do play live with "One Night Stand", I realy enjoy the energy of a live show and the relation with other musicians and the audience.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
One of the biggest inventions of the last hundred years, in my opinion, is the world wide web.

I believe that the opportunity that the new technology gives to an artist the freedom to create and distribute their work to the world will someday make the music industry very different than we know it..
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would prefer a smaller label so that it will bring a more personal situation, a lable that hopefully could care more about an artist's necessity of creation.
Your influences?
My influences are quite diverce, my musical background comes from the rock and fusion sound from bands and artist such as Dream Theater, Cosmosquad, Jeff Beck, Steve Vai, Kiko Loureiro, Al Di Meola and Scott Henderson among others.

There was a point in my life that I lusted for more of a free kind of music and since then my musical path had led to the greats of jazz such as Miles Davis, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, John Scofield, Art Blakey, Kenny Garrett, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Pat Metheny and the list can go on for long.

I have to admit that my secret afair was always with Paco De Lucia's flamenco sound and Composers for classic guitar such as Francisco Tarrega and Agustin Barrios.

My musical search and inspiration continues with the Impressionism Composers, Joseph-Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy as well as the Atonality of Arnold Schoenberg and others.
Equipment used:
My main electric is a James Tyler SE Retro, an amazing playing and gorgeous looking instrument that always inspires me. I also play a lot with a Sadowsky Semi-Hollow Archtop guitar wich offers a very warm and articulate sound. And lastly my Tom Anderson Drop Top Classic with a wonderfully sweet & singing tone.

I do play a lot of classical and some flamenco as well, I found the sound I was seeking at Modelo 12, a handmade classic guitar by master luthier Manuel Adalid.

My main of amplifiers currently are a Suhr Badger 18 and a Naylor SuperDrive 60. The former is a wonderful sounding clean & crunch single channel amp that with a boost is able to cover a lot of ground from jazz to funk fusion. The later is another single channel amp with a great thick tone, amazingly sensitive to the touch.

Just recently I have become stomp box addicted, my pedalboard currently is consisted by various pedals from makers like xotic, budda, t-rex, fulltone, mad professor, hermida, analogman, eventide, empress, diamond, lovepedal, fromel, elextro harmonix and 3leaf.

My Personal Workspace Studio is based on an Echo Layla 3G audio interface and a Sebatron Mic Preamp which has a warm, phat and musical quality to its tone which I really love.

I try to keep only gear that I use, I dont like having around things that got no or little use.
