acoustic emo with influences the likes of Dashboard Confessional and Brand New that originated in a University of Miami dorm room (Walsh 716).

Adam plays guitar and Zach sings and plays bass. Check them out.
Why this name?
The line "So hold the corners of my shirt" spawned the band name because they would say "let's take it from 'so'" when playing from the end of "Morning Dew"; that, and partly due to the lack of either of the guys' ability to come up with a cooler and more emo name. honest, I swear.
Do you play live?
yes, Coral Gables, FL, University of Miami campus. it was the best times of my life.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it's amazing that we can get our music out to ANYONE.
Band History:
[humble beginnings]:
One glorious evening, Adam came back from the shower (seriously, this happened) to his dorm room to find Zach, a fellow Walsh 7 (represent!) floor mate, scouring through his 200 book CD collection. "Youre my new best friend", exclaimed Zach. "Ok", Adam accepted. A few days later, Zach asked Adam to listen to his song lyrics, ("Adam, hear me sing") and try to write a guitar part for it ("do you have music?"), with the hopes of starting a band. By the wills of fate, it just so happened that Adam had a riff and a song, which he had been playing, with the hopes of adding the perfect words ("Yeah, I have something").

[take it from 'jigga what'?]:
On October 8th, 2003, the two met in Zach's room (Walsh 716), the first of what would become many jams, "Morning Dew" (not an Incubus reference) was born on this very night with pretty much nothing changed from either band mate's original piece; it was just a complete blending of the two.

Presently, Take It From So is in their dorm room "studio" recording and producing the self-released 3 song debut demo entitled Always, not Forever. We do not know what it means. They are always looking to play shows. Feel free to e-mail them at Chimp5@verizon.net for booking, or just to say hi.
