A young boy name Clay Callaway posessed the dream: the dream of one day having a band that could move one to tears, or move one to the banging of the head. The dream also included five members, who would combine the efforts of punk, metal, and just rock. That young boy's dream is being finally being fulfulled...
Why this name?
Raising Caine--To behave in a rowdy or disruptive way, as in He said he'd raise Cain if they wouldn't give him a refund, or The gang was out to raise hell that night, or The wind raised the devil with our picnic. The first term alludes to the son of Adam and Eve who killed his brother, Abel. It was first recorded in the St. Louis Daily Pennant (May 2, 1840): "Why have we every reason to believe that Adam and Eve were both rowdies? Because ... they both raised Cain.".

Band History:
Well, Razing Kaine has had an elustrious history. It all started when Clay(lead guitar) and Storm(ex-rythem guitar) started playing together and came up with the idea for a band. We found this Bosnian named Sinisa(drums), or something like that, and found out he played the drums so we recruited him to our merry little band. Then we found this guy named Jacob(Lead Vocals) who had a very large throat and could sing really good. So then there were the four, long before Clay had come up with the name Razing Kaine. When he did, the new members decided to keep it. Soon after recording "My Name Is Jonathon" and "Bloodshot" we recruited Danny (bassist) and a little later Andy (rythm guitarist) replaced Storm and the group was complete. We are doing great right now and are working on our debut album.
