Hey,
First of all thanks for checking me out. Im a budding solo musician who likes to experiment with different styles, from orchestra style music, piano solo work, to rock and electronica. Its all been rolled into each other with a hint of prog rock in there too.
Why this name?
"Freqmaster" was the name given to me by a mate of mine when I showed him the games "Frequency" and "Amplitude" for the PS2. As the years gone by I used the name as my artist name and here it is today.
Do you play live?
I mainly work solo, but I am hoping to get involved in writing material with others in the future. I have been in a couple of bands, but unfortunately have not been great succcesses.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet now has become a great source of finding new music. Ive never been a huge fan of the mainstream stuff, but it gives the listener a chance to find new and exciting music. It'll be a shame if it kills off album sales. I find releasing an "album" would be a truly exciting feeling, not only the songs mean something but the whole concept of an album can be part of the musical experience.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
What Im really looking for is a break into the "Computer Games" Music industry, or any other related media projects.
Your influences?
Big influences? Roine Stolt, Flower Kings, Symbion Project, David Bowie, Curve and The Prodigy. Some classical piano too, such as Ludovico Einaudi. I also have a history of stage shows and musicals in my blood.
Favorite spot?
A quaint little place called Meon Shore, up the road from Hillhead, Fareham.
Equipment used:
Reason 3.0, Yamaha PSR 2100 and growing.
Anything else...?
Well, in the 16 years of playing the piano Ive learnt so much and got great support from lots of different people. From all my friends and family, and you dudes on ReasonStation :D to name a few, Baby Shulz, Soulwalker, Nemi, Kigami, Kris, Crusoe, AvP, plus you others who check out my music and give sound advice. Long live RS ;)

Roine Stolt for being my biggest influence. I know we play completely different instruments but your musical knowledge continues to amaze me and your music is pure bliss to me. You too Tomas!
