Well, jus to let yall da name is Doobie, and no dats not my real name but hey we gonna run wit it.lol. I am a singer/musician, and i try to do wateva i can to keep myself busy. I love writing songs and i now am goin to start recording a lot more. I grew up in a church based family so my singing is "churchy" i guess i should say, and i love to listen to Tank, big ups to my nigga.

I also want to shout out my cousins that are doing it big also, Courtney & J-kizzle they really got some hits and they are the one's who got me recording again...BUT IF IT WASNT FOR MY OLDER SISTER AKAI I WOULDNT EVEN BE SINGING THE WAY I DO OR EVEN STARTED TO RECORD....SO MY FAULT BUT BIG UPS TO HER, I FORGOT 2 MENTION HER BEFORE SO IM MAKING THIS LOUD N CLEAR :-), so yea jus had to show dem love nah mean.

Why this name?

Well i got the name from my mom eva since i was a baby and ever since then it jus stuck wit me and i love it so imma keep it wit me.

Do you play live?

Yea, i love to perform live, becuz i like to reach the crowd, so yea. I reach out and make every time i sing a note a special moment for da listeners.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It is helping becuz, a lot more people can get their music out easier, and gets people noticed more.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

WITH OUT A DOUBT, dat is like a dream for me to one day wake n not have to go to a workin job, but a job that i can sing all the time, and b a 24 hr, worker basically.

Your influences?

My musical influences first is my mother cuz she can sing crazy...Den of course the church becuz dat is wat got me started, my older sister Akai for taking me to da studio (n plus she is the younger version of Kim Burrell, nah foreal tho she nasty), den my cousins becuz they record and they basically tell me i have not choice but to keep recording too.lol

Favorite spot?

Well, i like Philly which is where i go to school at, but i love my homecity York, Pennsylvania.....big ups to "YC" much love
