Born on May 17, 1980 just outside of Toronto, Canadian producer Lowercase has been a devoted fan of good music since birth.Raised on a diet of artists ranging from Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan to The Beatles and Simon And Garfunkel, his appreciation for talented musicians runs the full spectrum of musical genres.

His love for hip hop started in the early 90's with artists like Nas and Redman and it eventually grew into a full-fledged obsession when he began producing his own music in 2000. Taking inspiration from such industry legends as DJ Premier, Pete Rock, and DJ Shadow, Lowercase has perfected a sound that pairs the soulfulness of past masters like Donny Hathaway and Ray Charles with today's modern boom bap to create music that any fan of good sound would appreciate.
