About 6 years ago a solo artist was looking for a band. Or a serious collaborative effort. At the nursing home where she worked at the time, she asked her fellow co-workers if they knew of anyone who was seriously interested in making some music happen. The chef replied, "my brother in Madison plays everything. I'll ask him if he's interested..." Not long after, John Hinzmann packed up his belongings and relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he and Krista Lewandowski began the glorious adventure of floor stomping, heart bursting melodies in his brother's (the chef's) attic. They were to be called, "The Attic" and then "The Room," until one day John bought a two flat on the edge of Riverwest where his newly constructed studio inpired the two to write and record their Demo, "SECRET AGENT", the name now branded on them - forever.

Why this name?
While uncontrollably smoking American Spirits at the time (both artists claim they have quit this nonsensical behavior), the two searched the deepest recesses of their brain for words to a new song that would follow one of John's addicting licks. Krista opened Webster's dictionary and thumbed to SECRET AGENT. "THIS IS IT!!!" she exclaimed. "THIS IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE CALLED!" And their theme song, with the help of Mr. Webster, was soon after completed.
Do you play live?
Yes we play live. Just ask us.

"SAVOY," that raw, wabi-sabi-type rough and edgy song, is actually about the old savoy in Harlem. It was completed in one take, and shall remain a rough and rugged monstrosity of a song - forever.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
sure.
