It all started mid 2004 when we found ourselves in a hindu commune in india they called themselves the E3 and we had all come from different directions. Dom had just finished a trip across america, john had recently departed form the antarctic and j had finished mincing across europe.
There must have been some sort of cosmic energy in the air as we found ourselves in the same place and as if by luck j had brought his sitar. We smoked some strange native herb that filled the air with a purple tint and song long into the night. Danced around the inspirational fires and engulfed ourselves in the local culture.
We felt were onto a good thing and continued our travels together.

Why this name?
The next stop was china were we fell in love with a mystical jewel called jade. We each purchased our own particular fancy of this beautiful rock and continued on to bangkok. Now in rememberence of us there is a hotel there named after us. ---- Jade Pavillion.
Do you play live?
Damm right we play live, we play the crap out of it too....we have played on the same stage as such greats as KP Nuts, Yankee99's, Tom the poet, Monster John.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
well, you are really asking two questions there really, the first is how does music affect us in general, and if you are talking about Jade Pavillion then there will be a lot more girls getting wet in this world, and the second is the record industry, the internet is brilliant for the record industry, i mean look at it, so much exposure, so much new talent, real music only exists on the net, when was the last time you saw something good on MTV? and even Keranng has gone a bit pants! so we say the internet is the way to go, you may have to dig a little deeper, but quality is worth waiting for.....we think we are what you need, and we would love to know what you think ....let us know and we will love you....cheers for now you lovely bunch of music lovers.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes of course we are always looking for a major label.

Anything else...?
Yeah, there is always something else, we considered having an alcoholic troll in the band for a bit, we even had a few jam sessions, but he stole all our wine gums so we had to get rid of him. Its been an interesting journey, fueled by booze and high and low spirits, we have smashed things up and been generally lewed and crude, and thats the way its gonna stay.
