Music - Production - Composer

We use Live Guitars (acoustic & Electric) Keyboards, Bass, Drums & Percussion to Paint Audioscapes or sound beds of my own creation, and make our own Samples, We also Record, Mix & produce using Roland VS Hard Disk Digital Recorders and Mixing consoles, Digidesign's Pro-Tools & Korg Digital Recorders.
Why this name?
While we specialize in recording with live instruments, we have perfected our music using digital recorders combining the word digital with sounds to make DigitSoundz
Do you play live?
We have done several live venues however, we spend most of our time composing new material in the studio behind closed doors.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
How? by putting the production tools necessary to compose and record music right into the hands of the consumer as well as the secrets of professional sound.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the price is right we will. It's as simple as that.
Band History:
Welcome to our music page,

Growing up in an artistic environment during the early 70's in a time when great music and visual arts were colliding like atoms in a nuclear reactor, gave a glimpse of a world with unlimited possibilities and potential where the imagination could flourish and expand without borders. This was the training ground where New Jazz Movement's artistic journey began...

Being actively involved with visual art throughout our years in school, gave us a broad range of experiences which included sketching, painting, crafting and in our spare time we would explore the world of music.
After we had started attending junior high and our interest in music began to increase, our family had received a settlement from a car accident a year earlier so my father had purchased a piano for us to learn to play and this became our primary learning tool to explore music with.

During the first years of high school our focal point of interest shifted towards drum and percussion as well as analog tape recording and mastery of the guitar,
we began to focus more on the recording aspects of music and with a little help from several low cost tape recorders, we were able to master the basics...more to come soon.
