The Bluehouse name arrived from the color of house we did our pre-production at.

Bluehouse Records llc. was founded in 2002 by Maurice
Gowdy and Corey Sampson. Starting out with a Korg D12
Multi-track recorder they developed what would become
the new sound of the Sip. Bluehouse Records released
several underground singles that manifested a movement
and a following in Southern Mississippi like no other.
Bluehouse Records has developed several other outlets
with the help of an all star cast consisting of:
Corleone-Production Manager, Sleepy HollowHead- artist
and A&R, and a host of talent such as Ghost, Cope D,
Cokie Leaf, Mossburg JT, Child, and MR GEE. The forecast
for Bluehouse Records includes four full length releases
starting with MO G's- Motivation followed by TK- Tha Otha
Side of Tha Law, A Bluehouse Compilation and another
album in the works. In conjunction with Bluehouse
Records llc. are two other sub companies, Clear Coast
Publishing and Around Tha Way Management and
Productions. Be on the lookout for the HOUSE!!!

Our music has a very spiritual vibe, very southern
with original scores and realistic (I call grown folk music) subject matter. Influenced by Geto Boys, Scarface, Master P, J-Z, Nas, Playa Fly and Tupac Shakur (R.I.P).
