This a very good folk song. True to folk music it tells a story that keeps the listener's interest. The pick'n is great and you vocals are wonderful. Great job on this song. Really enjoyed listening to it.

Well like procks sayd,the tape-recording is unimportant. The expression, feeling inside the song and the colour of your voice is great, and touches the heart! By the way, such music with some arangements belongs to my musical heartland.

This is beautiful, Joyce. After reading your background, something like this has a pretty big emotional impact. Your lyrics don't hurt any either. I gave you 5 stars all the way around, including for production. I know what it was like to record back in those days on inexpensive equipment with no effects, no compression, no ... anything to help other than the song itself.
