I am Jon Greer. I play acoustic rock. It's pretty excellent.
Why this name?
I'm not very creative, so I just used my already existing name.
Do you play live?
I play live all the time. I am more involved in my band, but I enjoy playing solo shows as well.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah. I'm a sellout.
Band History:
I don't really have much of a history. I've played in the Daniel Greer Band for several years now, and a couple years ago I started playing the odd solo show. Now I've recorded a cd of my solo material. That's it.
Your influences?
Pearl Jam, the Smashing Pumpkins, Matt Good, Incubus, the White Stripes, Soundgarden, etc.
Favorite spot?
I don't like places.
