SoundClick artist: Think Twice Squad - Think Twice Camp, bringing a new flavour ok UK Garage and Hip Hop

My group.. Think Twice Camp, also known as TTS, specialise in the newly formed music of UK grime, Hip Hop is also another form of music that we touch on, by doing this we hope to appeal to more listeners. The crew consists of over 10 people including people from Coventry, Birmingham and all over Notts. Including DJ's so that our music is original with fresh and different beats, also including different styles of MC's / Rappers.
This crew was brought together by Reko Z from Birmingham so big up to my boi der!
Mixtapes have been made by individual members of the crew and one as a whole, there is one being worked on at the moment and all of these are available on the internet for listeners.

Why this name?

The phrase "Think Twice" came from the fact that everybody in the crew takes alot of time to produce their music and thinks twice before putting pen to paper or hand to mic. "Camp", as it is a large crew, we thought this would be a relevant name, it is also different to other groups who tend to have "crew" .We are bringing a new flavour of music through into the music scene.

Do you play live?

4 of the mc's from Notts recently played at a live gig in Newark including myself (nay~nay), reapah (T.Haaris), Wrekonize (Richard) and Furius (Glenn). This was a very big event as it was our first live gig and went extremely well. We are willing to play live anywhere and at anytime, we just want to perform as much as possible to get our music heard and experience the feelin of d sho.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet helps the music industry an awful lot as music that people would never get to hear without the use of their internet is able to be listened to.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Staying with Think Twice Camp is a big thing for me and all of our members, however we all understand that if big chance come along they hav to be taken, as we will all benefit from these.

Your influences?

I think it can be agreed that everyone in think twice has been influenced by listening to hip hop stars such as tupac and B.I.G, also more recent starts to break through oto the grime scene such as Kano, Ghetto, Demon, Stryder, Jammer etc. Also many of our DJ's were influenced by mixes they've heard fro other big DJ's such as Mr.Snowman.
