Thanks for visiting ;-) I'm a hobby musician and like to present some personal as well as our bands recordings. BTW: am looking for people to do more home recording stuff (g,b,keyb,) also drummer if rig is midi based.

Our band http://www.64bits.de

Why this name?
Bits, a nickname of my former chat account. 64Bits, my friend and me work in the computer industries. We like to drink "Bit"burger Pils (german beere) when probing. When we looked for a band name computer became 64bit machines. So we choosed 64bits since this name matches most if not all of these aspects ;-) Our motto: "We are used to work hard for the money, but sometimes you need something for the soul".
Do you play live?
I got a great opportunity to play in holidays on Lanzarote. Some years ago I met Gary there. He is a very nice guy, we became friends. He gigs through the clubs in Playa Blanca and I'm very excited if I get the opportunity to play with him on stage. Look this little video my wife took with a digital camera: Life on stage, hope you enjoy it ;-)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Great opportunity for musicians and listeners. Downside is, that people get used to listen to reduced quality music. If I remember back the old days where people were proud of their HiFi amps etc ;-)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Never say no, but my main job takes most of the time.

~1998-2006: 64Bits
