Hey, how's it going?

This is the page that I'm using to host any albums that I am inevitably a significant part of.

I've got some really old and unpolished stuff on my old page.

Don't hold it against me lol.

Why this name?
At the time, it pretty much summed up my life in every way conceivable, so I stuck with it.
Do you play live?
Yes, my mother's basement at the moment. It's pretty cramped.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
That is a really awkward sentence.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Nope.
Band History:
Devoid of Orbit is the name I've come up with to refer to my music, both "rapping" and "producing." Instead of sitting here and breaking down the meaning of that name, I'm going to take you through the rich and storied past of the man that at least half a dozen people know as Erik 'TaLi' RodrigueZ (IN THIRD PERSON!).

Although he was born in the hood (Hammond, Indiana), TaLi was raised in the extremely rugged and segregated streets of middle class Amherst, Ohio. It was here that his uncanny ability to relate to things that had absolutely nothing to do with his actual experiences flourished. In other words, the strikingly suburban sounds of NWA corrupted this young Puerto Rican/Irish/Polish boy. Then, at 15, TaLi and his mother moved down to Jonesboro, Georgia, a southern suburb of Atlanta. It was here where he began hanging around with ACTUAL black people. After graduating high school, TaLi hit a bit of a lull in his life. All of the hand-outs he had been given up to this point left TaLi without any real sense of accomplishment. Therefore, he took it upon himself to continue allowing his mother and grandparents to pay his way through college, make payments on his car, and pay a large majority of his bills. Around 21 or so years of age, TaLi realized he could actually write and recite his own rhymes rather than just sing along with everybody else's. Things have never quite been the same since. Around 23 or so years of age, TaLi's production sensei, Grendel, began teaching him the tricks of the trade. Things have never quite been the same since. Now that he's 26 years old and has received his Masters Degree in Sociology, TaLi truly believes that he's the shit. Luckily, his girlfriend of four and a half years puts him in his place on a daily basis (END THIRD PERSON!).
