Our band is a youthful group. We have the mind set to make it in the music industry. The band consists of me(jboodah), cire, shaolin, and renegade. We are a rap group. We have the eastcoast style of rapping. We also have a clothing line up and ready to be running as soon as we can get established.
Why this name?
One day my boy shaolin just brought it up because we are monsters on the mic and we u paint to design clothes and ink to write lyrics. therefore monster's enk.
Do you play live?
i haven't yet. I've been on stage with some friends of mine and experienced what it is like being on stage. I can't wait to get the opportunity. The only one from the group that has been on stage and performed is renegade.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it has its advantages and disadvantages. It can take away profit from an artist from song downloads but can benefit an artist in making a mixtape with the downloading of instrumentals. It can also help get an up and coming group or artist's name around.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course. I am waiting for the day to come.
Your influences?
The old Cash Money records. Mannie Fresh from coming out of the same area of New Orleans as i'm from. Of course Jay-z,B.I.G,Nas,2pac,Cassidy,the whole dipset,kanye west,Beanie Sigel,eminem, and many more.

I'm just trying to make it in an industry that I love. I'm determined to make it. I'm confident that me and my crew will succeed in this game.
