SoundClick artist: Upper Room - Christian country rock

Welcome to my site. I have posted a bunch of songs on this site. I hope you enjoy listening. Most of these songs are either Country or Jazz, but there are exceptions...but all are family friendly.
My influences are the country rockers of the 70's & 80's. In addition, I have influences in other genre's of music as well, but I really like the beat, and harmonies present in Country Rock.

Christ began to work through me and began giving me gospel songs. It was through these songs that I came to know Jesus after I played several of them for a pastor one day. Christ has continued to bless me with new songs and I look forward to the ones I will be receiving in the future.

So sit back and enjoy.

Why this name?

There is no band. It's all me playing with the multiple talents God gave me and the modern technology of Digital multitracking.I play guitar, bass, keyboards, and program the drums and sing many of the parts, using Cakewalk Music Creator 4&5 to record the songs.

Do you play live?

Nope.... too lazy.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It makes the music easier to be distributed to others who would never have the chance to hear it.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

At this time in my life I would be content to have somebody else just singing my songs.... or hearing them in a movie ......

Band History:

My band is a studio creation. I have referred to my studio as "The Upper Room" for a number of years, as it is in fact the upper room of my house. Best band I've ever had..... they never complain, play it exactly like I want, never show up drunk, never try to hit on my wife or daughters, and work cheap.
