Born in Croydon England (with Scottish parts!) and currently residing in Canada, Chip spent much of his youth learning the music industry ropes from his legendary Jazz trumpet player father Charlie Gall (aka. Dr McJazz). Witnessing his fathers consistent stellar performances set the tone for Chip?s future as a performer.

?My father is the greatest musician I have ever known?. period!?

Chip?s mounting reputation as a singer/songwriter and dynamic live performer made the transition from his rank as a driving force behind the popular late 80?s rock band Syre to solo artist an easy and well past due endeavor.

Syre performed for over 10 years as a live entity, regularly performing over 200 shows a year to packed clubs across Canada and the U.S. Chip?s writing endeavors with Syre (It Ain?t Pretty Being Easy & P.T.T.G) landed them a license deal with A&M record in Canada, Redlight Records in Chicago and Sony Records in Japan.

?Syre was my training ground?I love those guys?they are my brothers.?

Chip?s debut solo CD Me, Myself and You! can be described as a breath of rockin? roll fresh air. By melding dynamic rhythms and memorable melodies.

A solo CD it is by every sense of the word, as Chip dove for the first time into the Writer, Producer and Engineer roles as well as playing instruments on most of the tracks (except drums) on the debut project.

?I wanted this project to be a true reflection of me inside and out, both as a performer and writer?.

From driving rockers like ?Over and Over Again? and ?Welcome To The New World? to the melodiously soulful ballads ?Liv? and ?Come Home?, Chip?s music is certain to realize his fans enthusiasm for a rockin? roller coaster of a good time.

?Music should touch every human emotion?. from anger to lust?.

With energetic and memorable live performances Chip has honed and refined the delivery of his original material to an intense climax.

?A live rock show should do just that?. make you feel alive!?

The material is up front honest and performed with confidence and Chip is certain to please his fans night after night.

?Your fans make you what and who you are as a performer?.
