Why this name?
My name has been Real in the streets for a lot of years. I just adopted it as rap name and gave it a meaning (Rhymes Equal Actual Life)
Do you play live?
Yes, I perform live @ clubs like The City Night Club, Club Speed, The Platinum Lounge and mainly The Remote Lounge to name a few. I enjoy performing because I get interact with the crowd. I featured in my first show and the people received me in a big way. My cd's sold out quickly. I felt like a superstar that night.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I feel the internet is beneficial to the unsigned and indie artist. Though all artist can benefit, unsigned can be heard across the country.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Ofcourse I would sign with a major label. I just want to develop my skills. I would much rather obtain a production or label deal though.
Your influences?
Lauryn Hill and Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter are the two people who inspire me the most. All my life I've looked up to the Jackson family though.
