The lead singers are identical twins.

Currently we are only a recording band, we have played live in the past, but now we live in different parts of the world to each other.

Hailing from Glasgow one of Scotlands premier cities comes five guys who have been, around the music business for some 20+ years. Writing and playing only original material, they would like to think of themselves as pop writers with a lot of influences from acoustic rock sounds. Having had a taste of success, own label, publishing deal, played on Londons Capital Radio and BBC Radio London and independent stations around the UK and Europe, with gigs in and around the capital. This early excitement was muted as reality bit with families being started and the cost of living forcing one of the main driving forces of the band into leaving London.

Fast forward 13 years and the band are back together, at the moment just as a recording outfit, using the web for collaboration, so where better to promote and make available the results of this reunion than the web itself.

We are perhaps what you could call 'Old School', 'Adult Orientated Rock', songwriters from another generation, with new technology making strides into the worlds only 'Star Trek' used to explore, it is possible for all the concepts, that where valid way back when, to be realised.

'Identical 2 One' were always believers in independent music, and in the late eighties had their own record label and did all their own promotion, though we had no advances from record labels we did get some attention. So it was always felt by the band as a chance thrown away. So, it is with great pleasure and with a great amount of dedication and sheer hard work finally 'Identical 2 One' can present to the world a record they feel justly reflects the passion they have always felt for music.
