B.A. Cliq is a hip hop group outta enfield ct. We have been rhymin for about 3 to 4 years as a group. Get at me my sn is Best At It Cliq.
Why this name?
B for Best and A for At It. We chose it because it tells how we are with this music thing.
Do you play live?
We spit here and their but we havent done any shows yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens up a whole new way for listeners to hear music they normally wouldnt hear without the internet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Deffinitly if the situation was right.
Band History:
We started rhymin for fun but then ppl started telling us how good we were so we decided to take it more seriously. We have released a few songs and recently our first cd "Long Time Coming". We are currently working on our second album "Truth Be Told" expected to drop in early March.
Your influences?
Little Brother, L.E.G.A.C.Y., Chaundon, Joe Scudda, The Away Team, Mobb Deep, Nas, Jay Z, Biggie, Pac, Big L, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common, the N.O.C. and a lot of other artists.
Favorite spot?
The CT.
Equipment used:
We use Cakewalk 06, a behringer studio mic, alesis mixer, and pyro 5.
