When two life long friends from Dayton, Ohio decided to form a band, Blaxeed was created. A few weeks after Rick Weber and Chris Ott started writing music together, they knew their sound had potential. Rick, missing his right hand, has developed a unique style playing the guitar. This along with Chris's dark melodic bass grooves created songs full of emotion and power. However the two struggled to find the right drummer. Little did they know the answer to their problem was lying in a hole somewhere on Mt. Fuji. Aaron Day was serving his country as a U.S. Marine. Fortunately, when Aaron came home, he picked up his sticks again. After about ten minutes of playing together it was obvious, He is a smokin' drummer and was a perfect fit. In mid 2004 the trio decided to look for a lead guitar player, a few months later they met seasoned musician Eric McIntosh. His soulfull yet blinding leads made Blaxeed complete. Eric was able to fill the void almost instantaniously. They haven't looked back since.

Influences include, Black Sabbath, Audioslave, Alice in Chains, The Beatles, Anthrax, Pink Floyd, Everclear, Blind Melon, The Kinks, and too many more too mention.
