Hi there my name's Gary Ormond and I'm a solo guitarist and teacher. I'll get talking about my style, influences, fave guitarists, and perhaps even my equipment later. Hope you enjoy what you hear.

hehe, simple! It's my name. ;)
Do you play live?
Not as much as I used to. I do enjoy playing for the public but also love to pass on my knowledge to others.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet keeps the music biz honest!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yeah, guess so, if one came along.
Band History:
My band history is really just my history. The short version? 20 years experience as a guitarist, qualifications for classical guitar and singing, and almost 15 years as a rocker!
Your influences?
my style? Electrically, It is a mixture of technoflash, neo-classical, apalucian/melodic rock, and metal. I am greatly influenced by the true greats of the guitar; Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, George Lynch, Vinnie Moore and others. These guys "rawk" and if I ever get half as good as any of 'em, i'll die a happy man!

Don't really have a fave city.
