Alrite ppl, I'm Mug-Z, a hip hop artist from Letterkenny, Donegal Eire. I'm sick and tired of people saying that just cos im Irish i can never make it as a rapper, i dont believe so. We (The Irish) can do just as good as anyone else, mark my words.

Why this name?

I've had this nickname for the last 10 years or so. Dont ask me how it came about, just stuck wit me, so, here I am.

Do you play live?

At the moment we're trying to get a gig but the popularity of hip hop in my town is between slim and non existant so hopefully we'll be the one's to kick it all off.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

I think it changes it because it gives people like me a chance to get my music out there, make contacts and who knows eh

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yeah, but it depends on the terms of the contract. I like having a free role and I could never deal with someone telling me what i can and cant write about.

Your influences?

My biggest influence would probably be 2Pac Shakur. He didnt just rap, through his rhymes he was trying to make a change in this messed up world of ours and that, is exactly what my rhymes are all about
