I am a producer who has a long term interest in the music business. I constantly strive to be better today than I was yesterday.

I believe credit should be given to all who are involved with the production of a song, from the writers, composers and Artists, to the mixing and mastering of the final product.

If you are interesting in using one of the available songs in an upcoming project, please contact me directly at: JKeez@JKeezProductions.com
Why this name?
The name's James Keyes. That Simple.
Do you play live?
I mainly produce instrumentals and record songs with various artists of my choice. If I'm in the lab, I'm playing live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I believe that MP3's are helpful for any Artist to become known easier. The internet is a portal to the world. If you use it to your advantage, great things can happen, but it also stirs up illegal downloading of your music. I do not download music for free, nor do I think it is acceptable. Just because the average person thinks music is a dream job, I realize that Artists work very hard to create an exceptional product for the masses and I believe that they should be compensated for doing so.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the Label... When the right label contacts me - I'll go from there.
