Why this name?
My parents chose it in 1974.
Do you play live?
At present i write and produce demo's for other songwriters.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has brought at whole new audience to your music at a click of a button.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe, depends on the contract.
Band History:
Played in various local bands over the years including my brothers band ' The Principles'.
Played my own material in local pubs in Hertfordshire and at the Hanbury manor hotel.
Also i played to a 500 plus audience at Castle Hall in Hertfordshire opening a talent search event.
Now i'm concentrating more on songwriting and music production.

Your influences?
The Hollies, The Beatles, Crowded House, Travis, Coldplay, The Zombies, The Searchers.
I'm into songs that are of a simple classic structure and has a great melody.
Favorite spot?
Cambridge, but then again i would say that because i live there...
Equipment used:
I use the following music programs: Reason, Cubase, Live and others.
I also use a Ozone yamaha keyboard and a Boss BR8 multi-track.
Anything else...?
My first song 'Do you think of me' ,from the album 'Picture of You', i wrote four years ago and it took another year to finalise the other songs including 'Picture of you'.
The first album was produced at Stateside studios in Amersham and was completed around 2002.
From then on i kept writing, producing about two songs a week ready for recording.
It was at this point when i bought a few music programs that i started producing my second album 'Woman' choosing the best songs i had previously written and recording them down.
In 2007 with two potential albums my goal was to market them as much as possible to the outside world!
2012, I have completed and uploaded my first three videos to youtube. 'something by rob crane'
