I have been playing, singing and writing country music for over 30 years. I have performed literally "all over the world". I served 22 years in the U S ARMY and enjoyed keeping my fellow service members entertained from time to time between our REAL missions. I was part of the Army Soldier Show in 1992 and even composed 2 songs for the world touring show. I am now retired from service and mainly perform solo in the DC/MD/VA area.
Why this name?
I didnt want to get confused by calling myself something else!
Do you play live?
I currently perform at Kaufmann's in Gambrills, Oliver's Ole Town Tavern in Laurel and Cheeseburger in Paradise in Pasadena. All in Maryland.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives guys like me an outlet to get our music heard. Most radio stations have shut out the independent guys.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Never say never to anything........ It could come back to haunt you!
Your influences?
Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, John Prine, Rodney Carrington, Bill Monroe, Hank Williams, Eagles, and all the great Southern Rock Bands
Favorite spot?
Anywhere near the Blue Ridge Mountains
Equipment used:
Taylor 710CE and K22CE Guitars
Anything else...?
I was once told that Country Music was to slow and sad to be played by a solo act in a night club atmosphere. 20 years later I still have fans laughing, singing and converting to country music....:)
