Steve Clarke Band is a 5-piece Funky/Jazz band.
We play all originals that are a blend of funky-soul music with jazz improvisation.
Da bassist, composer and educator, mixes Jazz, Funky grooves and odd time signatures on new recording “Da Bass Is Loaded”. It is his 5th release and has been well received in Europe, where it was released in Oct 2004 and here in U.S. on Jan 7th 2005.
