It's something that just weirdly came to me one day. I go by Rob because that's my middle name and I'm a star, so RObStAR fits perfectly. As time progresses, i grow more and more content with my name.

I think the internet is a great way to expose unestablished artists (like myself). It gives the artist that needed exposure and fan base crucial to starting any successful music career. The obvious negative impact that the internet has on the music industry, as it relates to MP3 music, is that artists (now-a-days) loose potential album sales because the internet is set up to where an artists' music can be easily accessed and downloaded at no cost, thus discouraging the public to actually buy that artists' music. I'm personally not worried about that because at this point I'm not selling any records and i make most of my songs accessible to the public. I must say that i do support my favorite artists by buying their albums when i can.

My goal is to eventually sign to a major record label. I just want to sign at my own terms and not rush into anything that I would later regret.

I am influenced by entertainers like Stevie Wonder, Donell Jones, Destiny's Child, Jadakis, Trey Songz, Game, John Mayer, Jay-z, Jagged Edge, Usher, Mario, Cassidy, Justin Timberlake......listen, i could go on-and-on! There's so many musical artist from so many different musical genres that influence me!(It's crazy)

I love New York City!!! It's my birth place, it's where i live, it's the city where i had my first everything. A city where so much goes on.
