About Nate Wong
Hi, thanks for visiting my website. I began playing music in the Bay Area in California, I am now studying at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

In California I played regularly with jazz groups primarily around Marin County, San Francisco and Berkeley. You can see a list of many past gigs below. My regular gigs in California included playing with the bands of the trumpeter Theo Meneau (now studying music at USC) and singer Amanda Addleman (Berklee). I was also the drummer of the Vineyard of Marin, the assistant conductor of the Sir Francis Drake Symphonic Band, the rhythm section leader of the Drake Jazz Band, the lead percussionist of the Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra and the conductor of the Golden Gate Brass Band.

In Boston I am currently studying privately with Ralph Peterson. Over the winter I played a series with the Civic Symphony of Boston and Wellesley Symphony, I am also a member of the Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra.
I also am the drumset instructor at the West End House Boys and Girls Club in Allston which is a great opportunity.
