Blacklist kid uses his vast musical background along with the assistance of a very talented woman named Anjel to devise music that addresses some issues that are usually left to CNN. Listen,you won't be disappointed.
Why this name?
Blacklist kid did some time in prison a while back and as a result he "Blacklisted" himself from any job in the Government,City and otherwise
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it allows people that can not get to shows and such the opportunity to hear what's new out there. There aren't constrained to what the radio decides to play.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes,absolutely. Not in it for the fame in fortune. We believe in what we do and want people to hear what we have to offer.
Band History:
Blacklist kid has been playing,writing and recording since he was 14. A passionate love for music has always been the force driving him. He went through a few "phases" such as acoustic and folk but has settled in the genre we like to call Folk tronica. Anjel and BLK met a year and a half ago. Through hard work and overwhelming dedication they have been able to put his music in a space outside of the box.
