Irish Eyez evolved from Plan B and Mass Pike Mike coming from an Irish background, and staying true with ourselves and are roots is what we're all about.

So far Irish Eyez hasn't hit the stage yet, but it's a major goal that we feel we can accomplish. Get back at us if you like us or not...we're ready to light up the stage...

The internet has provided artists with a whole new avenue that music never had in the past. The internet allows artists to be heard all over the world, with the touch of a button. We all know the flipside, artists being ripped off. This is a tough subject for artists to all come together and agree on, but we don't see music leaving the internet any time soon.

If Irish Eyez we're to be offered a contract, it would have to be taken into consideration, but for now, we're tryin to keep it real, and keep it independent...Scandalus Enterprize is what we wanna blow up...

Irish Eyez formed back in late 2000, though we weren't known as Irish Eyez then. Plan B and MPM met on campus at Salem State College, and quickly became our own click...Irish Eyez started making our own music in late 2004, and started recording in March of 2005. We just finished up our demo, called "That's Right bi***," which includes 8 songs, 6 original beats, and two remixes of a Three 6 Mafia joint, and and Executioners track by DJ Premier. Irish Eyez is about maintaining our love for all types of music, positive vibes and having good times...Irish Eyez is MC Plan B...aka...Kommunwealth And Deano...aka...Mass Pike Mike

Our greatest influences, without a doubt would have to be Kottonmouth Kings. They are the true Kings of the underground, and a music style that is unique. Irish Eyez isn't trying to cookie-cut KMK, but rather evolve our East Coast style to similar West-Coast style beats. More of our muscial influences from the Hip Hop scene include Dre, the Alchemist, really anyone with beats that bang...We like that trunk rattlin' bass to be heard hittin' the 12's from a mile away...More influences come from classic rock, metal, and really any genre of music.

Boston, Massachusetts is number one on the list...Irish Eyez is reppin' the area, so this is where the roots form. Just recently I.E.C. went halfway down the East Coast dropping free CD's in the cities we stayed in. Our favorite along the way, the#2 city in the East has gotta be Philly...

Irish Eyez is running all sorts of equiptment. We use Fruity Loops 5, Producer Edition, Ableton Live 5, Sonic, and a few other programs for recording and making beats. Plan B has 2 KRK Rockit 5 studio monitors, an M-audio Mobile Pre, Yamaha MG16/4 mixer, Yamaha DGX-200 midi controller, a Marshall MXL 2001 Condenser Mic, couple of old skool Numark belt-drive turntables for now, and a Numark DM1002MKII DJ Mixer...all of this is run through an HP Desktop...
