Relic Entertainment is an independent record label located in Southern California. Our first release is Armageddon the Pre-Qual which features all new original songs by some of the most anticipated artist in the west. We have songs by Crooked I, Sly Boogy, RBX, and Lady of Rage with appearances by Truth Hurts and Bo Roc.
Why this name?
Relic is our record label and we chose our name because we wanted to make timeless music. Relic is a timepiece which is timeless.
Do you play live?
Since this is a compilation album there are some of the artist that our doing some live performances. We recently had a release party where some the artist performed songs from the album as well as their other well known songs. It was a very good show and the clips are available for down load on our website.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet changes the music industry by allowing good music to be heard by all despite it the artist being signed to a particular label. IUt allows the consumer be their own A&R.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I wouldn't necessarily sign a record contract but I would sign a distribution deal as long as the numbers are right. The Major labels still control the worldwide distribution and commercial radio for now so to get our music a better distribution I would sign with a major.

Our production has been compared to Dr Dre, DJ Quik, Battlecat
