Look, we're not a band per se. We're more like a bunch of guys who get together and get these very strange ideas... for comic routines, and you know sometimes we're just an "I," you know, like one guy who gets an idea?

OK, actually Idiot's Lunchbox is a concept. It's not a firm group of musicians or members so to speak. We're an "I" as in "Idea"....well, most of the time we're an "I."
Why this name?
It was one of those things, where you think you hear something but it turns out you heard it wrong. I don't remember what the original thing was I heard, but I remember what I THOUGHT I heard... I think...
Do you play live?
We, (or I, depending on your point of view,) play around the Augusta, Ga area, known to some as the Cenral Savannah River Area. So if you're in town during the Masters Golf Tournament, look me up. I might be performing at some nightspot in town.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
What we believe to be the "music industry" is actually beginning to act like an industry, putting out "cookie cutter" products left and right. All these pop singers sound almost exactly alike.
With mp3's and the Internet, a songwriter has a much better chance of getting his/her material out to those who really care about songwriting and talent.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No I would not. I'd start my own label and sign myself there and distribute my own CD's.
Band History:
Well, first we...no, no no, that was those other guys.......Oh yeah, we lived on a street corner....no, no, no, that was the guys from the Salvation Army... we were drinking...there, that's all you really need to know
Your influences?
Sean Morey, Heywood Banks, Weird Al, The Beatles, The Stones, Bad Company, Tom Lehrer, Red Skelton, James Taylor, Hot Chocolate, The Eagles
Favorite spot?
I've always enjoyed performing in my hometown of Augusta, Ga. but no matter where I perform, I enjoy looking at the scenery, so I can't quite pick a specific place I like, unless I can say Broad Street in Augusta, Ga. during First Friday events.
Equipment used:
Just my guitar(s), a kazoo, a jaw harp, a train whistle (I'm really into noise makers) and whatever I find along the way.
Anything else...?
I am somebody else's "Somebody Else."
