Why this name?
Isaac Sloan seemed like a cool enough name so I just stuck with it although everybody calls me Ike.
Do you play live?
I play live on campus where I go to college and at venues around St. George Utah when I have a chance. One time I got to play for 1000 people at a church event in Colorado. That was a great feeling.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes music much more available to the public but also sort of throws everybody into the same pool making it hard for audiences to pick favorites and find people they really like.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yea I think I would as I just want to play music that I feel is good and have as many people as possible listen too it.
Band History:
Last year I played for a band called Travesty. But its mostly broken up now due to differences in artistic direction.
Your influences?
All of the awsome musicians I have had the honor of playing with and learning from in my life. The people out there who actually believe in there music and get out there and perform even though they could probably be making more money at MickyD's. You guys are my true hero's.

And then of course there's the many incredible musicians and songwriters who used to be like us but through their perserverance inscribed them selves into history and influenced the rest of us.

Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Guns and Roses, Bruce Springstein, Neil Young, Weezer, The Rolling Stones, John Prine, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Yes, Smashing Pumkins, Eric Clapton, Van Halen, Tom Petty, The Who, The Kinks, Howard Shore, Lynard Skynard, Joe Ely, Al Stewart, Grateful Dead, Iron Maiden, Willie Nelson, Jon Schmidt, George Winston, Hayley Westenra, Beethooven and a lot more.
