The semi's were formed by unchristian(drums) and bill soma(voc/guitar) who were high school friends. after years of doing other projects they teamed up and the rest is history. In 2003 The Semi's were voted best new band in tampa. They are also one of the most requested bands on two radio stations in tampa/st. pete area.
Why this name?
bill soma came up with name. For a semi' hard-on!

yes we play live. throughout all of florida. yes. being voted best new band was great.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
the internet offers a forum for all types of music to be heard to a large audience, because radio is too corporate.
