I believe the road was easier understood by artist, musicians, and songwriters when an agent led you to a music publisher who led you to a record company. Yes, there was politics and who you knew was important.....but in the end it only top talent reached the top....all others were eliminated.

I'm trying to figure out the best avenues for a songwriter who wants to write for artists, TV or movies. I hear TAXI is a good one.
