Why this name?

Its my b-boy name. I breakdance and a friend gave it to me....i realize there is a DJ D-Styles that is a member of the Fusionist Network, but 1)it is spelled differently 2)I recognize, understand, and respect that they are pronounced the same but we are two different people 3)he is a DJ and i'm not and 4) this name, D-Stylz, just carried over from the name given to me from Breakdancing.

Do you play live?

I make beats... I do like performing on stage, but the only performances I've given have been breakdancing. I love it though. Looking to be on stage more, doesn't matter what i'm doing. Keep your eyes open for me.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

So many people can get stuff heard and maybe even be discoverd. It definately helps getting so many insanely talented artists on this website noticed as they should be. It makes the world a little bit smaller and easier to link up with other people with the same goals, drive, and love for music as you

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Maybe, but I'd rather start my own.

I've tried to make my own style.

Hip-hop/rap beats with classical influence and samples. R&B and any type of smoother track with a strong beat and realistic drum patterns.

So many influences....Timbaland, 311, Neptunes, Incubus, Camron, Cypress Hill, The Police, Clipse, Cranberries....and many more.
