Goonj means Resonance of sound A sound that has a continuous returns with echo. By this name we bring to the world a kind of music that most of us like and want to hear. Just because it feels like it is a part of your life that is being exposed.
With our music we have tried to satisfy our musical hearts and worked real hard to get to this place where we ensure that our music can touch anyone's heart and stir any soul. The whole Journey from scratch to this level has been sheer hard work for us ! as many days and nights were lost and many hearts and ears won !

Why this name?
Well we were thinking of a band named as we never thought of before :) and after many names that we selectes as, ABs, Shockalaca, Duo, Drop n etc we thought of a local name that most people can relate to and also a name with which people can relate our songs. so we coined Goonj and people arround us and in the Music Circle really loved it.
Do you play live?
Yes we play live, Anywhere any time :)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well it makes a difference, anything that makes a difference it develops interest. People buy music if they like it and to give them a cheap Internet catalogue they get more choices and they can decide. Also for musicians with no official releases with any label, its a route to promotion.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes we are in process the Documents are done lets see when we come to final bargain

Bon Jovi, Eagles as major where as ohers are countless.
Favorite spot?
Well there may be a million good cities all over the world but Karachi is a real city. Its a place to be.
