SoundClick artist: Rio Soul - page with MP3 music downloads

I'm from the south subs of Chicago. I've always had a strong passion for music, specifically hip-hop. I began makin beats in the 4th quarter of 2005, and I think I've come a long way since then.

Why this name?

Rio is short for my government and I added the soul because I put my soul into makin my music. It's also a spin on the Neo Soul genre of music.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

There's really no need to answer this question. I'm quite sure that everyone got a pretty similar answer to it. The internet basically gives cats who are lookin to get their foot in the music industry door a better opportunity to gain exposure. Along with positve changes like this has come a fair share negative changes, but I personally feel that the positive changes that the internet's had on the music industry outweighs the negative.
