play lo-fi play hi-fi  Double tracked Black ice riff (for fun)
Hello, this is a just a little page for me to put stuff on, you know, home recordings and stuff.
Why this name?
This is my "other" net name, and I just added the 2112 bit on the end of my first name becuase I love Rush so much.
Do you play live?
I play a few cover shows live, often at guitarists clubs. Special moments would be the first time I played live, it was a lot of fun. I like playing these kind of shows, especially at guitar clubs, because it lets me play what I want, menaing I can slip the odd original in there.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's great, it's helped me get into a lot of new stuff, but I don't really support free trading of music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah! As long as they agreed not to touch my stuff, ideally I'd go for a contract with Favoured Nations (I like them!)
Band History:
Just playing a little bass...ut when I do shows, my brother plays lead, which suits me fine since he plays all the shred stuff which I love (even though I play bass I still find guys like Rusty Cooley, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani influence me).
Your influences?
In no order....Stuart Hamm, Billy Sheehan, Rush, Michael Manring, GHS, Vail Johnson, Victor Wooten, Jimmy Haslip, Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke....there must be a lot more!
Favorite spot?
My bed or my bathroom shower. or this chair in front of my computer...or the walk home from work...I guess.
Equipment used:
My basses-

A 1989 white Kubicki ex-factor bass, with the original preamp and 18 volt electronics

An Ibanez BTb405QM, soon to be sold and replaced by a Yamaha AttitudeLTDII

A Vintage four string unlined fretless

amps, pedals, blah.
Anything else...?
