Hello my fellow Americans, and other people around the Globe. This is Chris. Kracka C for short, oh wait....That's longer than Chris. Any case this is where you can find all of my Dizzope Rizzap in this Bizznitch. Special thanks to Chris J. for hookin' me up with some fresh album covers and thanks to everyone who posted those fresh beats I've been spittin' over.
Why this name?
I asked my friend Chris in Illinois what a good Rap name was. He said Kracka C. I said that in case I added any extra members, they would forever be known as the Houston Kingz. Hence my first outing, "Cali Chronic" is done by Kracka C and the Houston Kingz. Of course I dont have any special guests...but hey..it's all gravy, baby.
Do you play live?
Hmm..Live performances are still in the works. I'm considering forming a new group. Possibly Blues/Metal/Gothic style with flavors of other genres. Kingwood/Humble artists more than welcome to Email me about possibly talking about some kind of group.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a blessing and a curse. Small time people like me get our message out there. It's wonderful in that aspect. Plus it gives a good chance for people to get a taste of what an artist has to offer..but too many people cop out and download an album rather than purchase it. I download, then purchase. It's incintive to buy.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As Kracka C? Highly doubtful. I do rap just for fun. It's not something I take too seriously. As can be noted on "Ain't a Gangster" on my upcoming release "Third Coast Cumback."
Band History:
Started in 2001-2002. I made a song for my brother, he was going to move to California and needed a mix full of tunes for the road. Hence I put Cali Chronic 1 on the mix. Truth is...I've never been to Cali. It was just something I wanted to put on there. My friend Chris from Illinois bugged me until I made a whole cd.
Your influences?
Hmm...Rap-wise? Ice-T, Insane Clown Posse, Dark Lotus, Twiztid, Kottonmouth Kingz, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, list goes on and on.
Favorite spot?
Would have to say Austin Texas or New York City. Too hard to judge now..I need to see Amsterdam...
Equipment used:
for Kracka C: Compaq Presario computer.($850-900) Radio Shack mic($9.99) Goldwave program(Shareware)
For Everything else: Gibson Les Paul studio /Epiphone SG/and Castilla Acoustic guitars. Peavey 8 channel mixer. 2 15" speakers. Shure Mic, 606 Zoom Effects pedal.
Anything else...?
This rap stuff is just for fun. I know I'm not a gangsta. Nobody should get offended...Kracka C is an act. I dont shoot people. I dont rape, murder, or beat down people. I'm not a racist, a sexist, or a homophobe. These are satirical pieces oozing with Irony. Take a Joke, Don't take Offense.
