5-9-03: Well...its been an ongoing project with the drum tracks..we have been writing and experimenting with some different and off the wall ideas.....were not in a hurry, but we are very close now to completing Scott's drum tracks....

Tim Gravelle, born to jazz great Marc, was raised in Los Angeles county’s wondrous San Fernando Valley with music a constant love.
Through the 1990’s he recorded & toured extensively with then A & M records’ artists “To the Moon Alice” on bass. Years of nearly constant travel, one of which consisting of well over 200 venues and plenty of time spent living in New York eventually brought on the triumphant return home to Los Angeles in 1998.
Since then Tim has completed this Debut Solo record, thanks to Stone Garden Records, David Steinhart and producer John Glogovacz. A meandering and subtle genre blender, this first effort brings is both personal and observational, almost making fun of itself when needed.
The album written and performed by Tim, it features drummer and childhood friend, Scotty S. on the tracks “My Minute” and “Incompletely Live Musical support for this album is being provided by: the DEADBEATNIKS.

formed by Scotty S. (drums/vocals) & Tim G.e (lead vocals/bass guitar) in 1999 and recently acquiring the talents of Israel Andrade on guitar and tables.
Tim G. & The DEADBEATNIKS can be seen performing now in L.A. and Orange Counties in over 47 area codes. Treat yourself to this blend of highly inspired & honest music.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes...the deadbeatniks are currently recording demos to share and to shop to labels...indie or major....and their also recording drum tracks for their debut album.....
Your influences?
the deadbeatniks have influences and backgrounds that were influenced heavily by jazz, 70's & 80's pop, rock and heavy metal.....the deadbeatniks have unique balance of influences...."we're kind of somewhere in between Kool & the Gang meets The Police/Rush and many other various genre styles of music....you figure it out for yourself...we hope that you enjoy......
