I LOVE playing live, but I haven't played live with a band in almost 4 years. Anybody out there need a guitarist?
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3 is a great medium to get your music heard.
But, because mp3's are so easily available, people now seem to think that music is and should be free.
Why is it that one 40 minute cd will cost $20.00, and another 67 minute costs only $8.99? My solution: charge by the minute! If an artist is too lazy, or simple lacks the motivation to come up with an ample amount of music per album, they should be paid less. If someone comes up with a cd completely full of amazing stuff, they should be rewarded!
